WORRY FREE WARRANTY
For a fee collected at the time of the original tire purchase, or for a fee collected to subject other tires to the terms of this certificate, Lamb’s Tire and Automotive will refund the purchase price and the sales tax, if any, on any tire covered in the event of a failure due to workmanship and materials or a non-repairable road hazard for the service of the original tread down to 3/32 inch remaining, or three years from date of purchase, whichever occurs first. At the election of the purchaser, we will sell a replacement tire to the purchaser at the original price paid for the damaged tire, plus the required sales tax. In the event the covered tire is discontinued or unavailable, a tire of similar value will be substituted. If according to the Rubber Manufacturers Association guidelines, the tire can be safely repaired, we will do so free of charge. The cost of this certificate is set forth on the receipt issued for the purchase of tire(s). This certificate will be honored at any Lamb’s Tire and Automotive. This certificate does not cover damage caused by collision, vandalism, chain damage, mechanical defects of the vehicle, alignment wear, lack of proper maintenance, and rotation or willful abuse. This warranty is not applicable to tires used on ATVs, off road vehicles, trailers or commercial vehicles. No other property damage or consequential damage of any kind is covered by this certificate. There will be additional charges to purchase a new certificate for a replacement tire and to balance a replacement tire. Warranty is valid to original purchaser only and is non-transferable.
STANDARD WARRANTY
NEW TIRES – WORKMANSHIP AND MATERIALS – This Limited Warranty applies to all owners of the tire using it in non-commercial service. If our examination shows that a passenger, SUV or light truck tire covered by this warranty has become unserviceable (refer to Owner’s Duties, Conditions and Exclusions) due to workmanship or materials defect during its service down to 3/32 of an inch, it will be replaced on a pro-rata tread wear basis.
NEW TIRES – ROAD HAZARD (only applicable to certain tire brands and models, see store for details) – The Limited Warranty applies to all owners of the tire using it in non-commercial service. If our examination shows that a passenger, SUV or light truck tire covered by this warranty has become unserviceable (refer to Owner’s Duties, Conditions and Exclusions) due to a normal road hazard (i.e. non-repairable puncture, cut, snag, bruise, or impact break) during its service down to 3/32 of an inch, it will be replaced on a pro-rata tread wear basis.
NEW TIRES – MILEAGE WARRANTY (if applicable) – In addition to the warranties above, every mileage warranted passenger, SUV or light truck tire is warranted to the original purchaser only for the specified number of miles of tread wear and against the listed normal road hazard. for the same mileage (if applicable). If our examination shows that the tire covered by this warranty wore down to its tread indicators before giving the specified number of miles of non-commercial service to the original purchaser on the passenger, SUV or light truck vehicle on which originally installed. it will be replaced on a pro-rata mileage basis (refer to Owner’s Duties, Conditions, and Exclusions).
ATV/TRAILER TIRES – The Limited Warranty applies to all owners of the tires using it on trailers or ATVs. If our examination shows that a trailer or ATV tire covered by this warranty has become unserviceable (other than by road hazard or the exclusions listed below) during the three year period following its date of purchase it will be replaced based on a charge of 33% per year or part of thereof, of the original purchase price.
REPLACEMENT AND CHARGE – Any Lamb’s Tire and Automotive store will honor these warranties and provide an exact replacement tire when available or a comparably priced replacement tire. Tread wear is pro-rated on the basis that the tire is worn out when the tread is worn down to 3/32 of an inch remaining tread groove depth or to tread wear indicators on tires containing them. Tire replacement cost is determined by multiplying the original cost of the tire by the percentage of tread used and adding F.E.T. and state taxes. A mileage warranted tire is prorated at a set charge per 1,000 miles driven. Additional charge for balancing on replacement tires apply to all limited warranties above.
OWNER’S DUTIES – It is the owner’s responsibility to (a) see that your tires are operated at proper inflation pressures and loads, and rotated regularly (b) pay applicable taxes and dealer services such as mounting and balancing, which you may authorize, and (c) return the adjustable tire and complete customer part of adjustment claim form. For replacement, tire owners must present their original sales invoice.
CONDITIONS AND EXCLUSIONS – Non-commercial service includes use by the owner in his/her regular trade or business but excludes commercial truck, racing, off-the-highway, taxi, limousine, or similar service. Passenger, SUV or light truck tire road hazard warranty (if applicable) does not apply to tires used on commercial trucks, recreational vehicles or off-the-highway service. All stated and implied warranties apply only to tire’s original purchaser on the car, SUV or light truck on which originally installed. These warranties do not cover tire damage, destruction or failure from vandalism, or accident, irregular or premature tread wear caused by improper inflation, misalignment, imbalance of wheels, worn out shock absorbers or brakes, damage or failure due to other non-tire causes such as being run flat, mechanical condition of vehicle, cut from rim or chains, or any willful abuse. A tire is not adjustable for problems of appearance after the first 10% of wear. All Lamb’s Tire and Auto Expressed warranties expire three (3) years from the date of purchase. Terms of manufacturers’ warranties may also expire. These limited warranties are the exclusive warranties of Lamb’s Tire and Automotive stores, are in addition to the warranties of the manufacturer, and set forth the exclusive remedies available to the tire user. Lamb’s Tire and Automotive stores shall not be liable for any consequential, special or contingent damages or expenses arising directly or indirectly and no company representative may enlarge or alter these warranties.
